The story behind both the Bekas Logo and Welat:
Both the hoodie and joggers hold a design that symbolises all parts of Kurdistan. Kurdistan is made up of four regions: Bakur (North), Rojhilat (East), Başûr (South), and Rojava (West). Though divided by borders and political lines, these regions remain united through a shared culture, language, and history.
Each region carries its own identity—through dialect, dance, clothing, and music—yet all are part of the same homeland, connected by deep roots and a collective memory that cannot be erased.
This unity is reflected in the Bekas logo, where two Kurdish numerals for the number 2 are interlocked to form a plus sign—symbolising “2+2.” Inspired by Qazi Muhammad’s poem Two Plus Two Equals One, it represents the idea that the four parts of Kurdistan, though separated, are ultimately one.
